The Coaster was by far the most ridden and most loved ride at Riverview. It was a large wooden structure that took it's riders on a half-mile long trek at an average speed of 40 miles per hour, rose to the top of a hill, and then dropped 65 feet all the way to the ground. There would be eight drops, each one clear to the ground, with the high ones simulating a mini heart attack for some. 

    Many people have shared with me their memories of the Coaster. For some, it was their first Coaster ride ever.
